Designed for drywall, plaster and painted surfaces, the Halo works in any lighting condition, reducing eye strain and keeping you focused on the detail that matters.
Installation couldn't be simpler - simply snap the Halo onto the top of the Mirka Leros fairing, feed the cable down the handle and you're ready to go. Power directly from your dust extractor using a double adapter, or utilise the second port on the extractor such as the Mirka Dexos 1217 or 1230.
Supplied with inline dimmer, power supply, 6m DC extension cable and mounting hardware. Extra 5m extension cables are available to purchase separately if you are running a 10m hose.
Please note this also is compatible with the Hilti DWS 225.

This review is for the first version. The item is durable. Works as described. Fits on my Hilti DWS 225 sander. Only wishes is that the plug wouldn’t keep coming out of the light housing while sanding and that the extension cables had some sort of locking mechanism so they would keep from detaching from one another. Probably will buy the newer version which has the plug connected to the housing. All in all, happy with the purchase. I referred three of my coworkers to buy the light for their sanders too and they are happy with their purchase.
im a full time plasterer. i love the new version, quickly became a necessity when sanding. a lil bit of tape on the wire so it doesnt disconnect while working and its perfect.
im recommending it to all my coworkers✨.

Not the same design as the original photograph, as there is no switch on the light bezel itself. It is fully flat with just a wire that leads to a barrel connector. In the end it's fine, I figure out how to attach the inline switch on the sander handle closer the sanders's buttons. I used zip ties and nano tape.
Also, would have wise for the light voltage to be on the listing somewhere. It is 24v and there is only one battery back that outputs 24v and its pretty heavy. So best run inline with the DC plug that is connected to a cube tap on the vacuum. The light will trigger the vacuum if its on tool mode.
